If we tackled the ancient Pharaohs history; which goes back to 3000 years or more, there are major achievements through 3 periods the Old, the Middle and the New Kingdoms, through these periods many changes and civilization reflect and appear on their tombs and how it did look like and how it is decorated. There are many ancient tombs across Egypt although the great pyramids considered as a Royal tombs yet there a lot of Pharaonic tombs in the country if we tried to have a closer look on the Royal tombs we may start with the first dynasty tombs; one of the best well known tombs in Egypt is Sakkara; it is quite recognized by the tourists however a lot of them have never been there exploring it. The Tombs of the Royal; Mastaba is the simplest and oldest tomb structure, built of mud brick and it was not decorated. The Tombs were built in an order so wandering around them is possible for visitors. Most of the tombs had a vestry outside of it that can be easily accessed. Often there was also a (Serdab) a room inside the tomb which was confined. The Serdab statues of Djoser belong to the most popular ones. In the Old Kingdom - the third dynasty - Imhotep built Zoser's step pyramid followed by this, the built of the great pyramids at Giza plateau that considered being the greatest achievements of the fourth dynasty. Old kingdom's fifth dynasty had the first decorated tomb with the form of hieroglyphic writing which is known as the pyramids text providing guidelines ensuring a safe trip through the other world and the eternal life. The pyramid of King Khufu includes over 2, 300, 000 stones, as the pyramid weight is 6.5million tons, each stone weighs about 2.5 tons. The height of this pyramid is 481 feet. Also the Tomb of King Tut-Ankh-Amun; it might not be the biggest Tomb in Egypt however it has its own charm because of what has been found in this tomb with a massive fortune and treasure The Noblemen Tombs which believed as high priests and the officials positions of government. As the kings were buried in the pyramids, the noblemen buried in mastabas; which did not decorate with religious scenes. With the beginning of the Middle Kingdom the Tomb of the Noblemen has progressed with strong religious scenes ensuring their safe journey to have happy eternal life in the other world. In the New Kingdom the Royal Tombs was not decorated with such scenes like the Tombs of the Noblemen.
